Current General Activity, Perceptions of Respondents for the Region reports the change in general business activity of the region based on perceptions of respondents compared to the previous month for reporting service firms. The General Business Activity is the broadest measure of the Nonmanufacturing Business Outlook Survey. The diffusion index is calculated by taking the percent reporting increases and subtracting the percentage reporting decreases.
