Quotations Since May, 1933 Were Established By Adding Extra For Annealing To The Base Price For Hot-Rolled Sheets, No.10 Gage. From May 10, 1939 To And Including May 15, 1939, Reductions Of From $4.00 To $8.00 A Ton Off Base Prices Were Prevalent. Although These Concessions Were Withdrawn On May 15, Many Orders Originally Placed At Concessions Ranging From $4.00 To $6.00 Were Later Adjusted To The Maximum $8.00 Reduction From The Base Price. 1940 Data Were Computed By NBER From Weekly Data.
