Series Is Presented Here As Two Variables--(1)--Original Data, 1917-1948 (2)--Original Data, 1948-1955. Data Are For Amount Of Crude Oil Run To Stills At Refineries, Including Foreign As Well As Domestic Petroleum. Beginning In 1949 A New Method Of Reporting Crude Oil In California Was Instituted, Shifting A Considerable Proportion Crude Oil Formerly Reported As Residual Fuel Oil To Oil Reported To Runs To Stills.
